Crispy Old Fashioned Donuts

Crispy Old Fashioned Donuts

These are easy-to-make donuts that are crispy on the outside and moist and delicious inside!

Cake flour
170 g
Bread (strong) flour
130 g
Unsalted butter
40 g
100 g
Baking powder
2 teaspoons
Vanilla extract
a small amount
Chocolate coating
Chocolate coated corn flakes
White chocolate pen

1. Soften the butter to room temperature. Mix the sugar, eggs, and butter in a bowl.
2. Sift the dry ingredients into the bowl. Add the vanilla essence.
3. Mix the ingredients together using a rubber spatula. Once mixed, let sit for 10 minutes so that there are no flour streaks.
4. Dust the surface of the dough and roll it out to about 1cm thick. Cut out the donuts with a cutter.
5. Using a skewer or toothpick, draw a line around the middle of the donuts.
6. Fry in oil heated to 170 -180°C until they have a light brown color.
7. Once the donuts have cooled, decorate as you like with chocolate to make them look even yummier. They're also good as-is.
