Preparation: Let the frozen pastry soften at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Cut the softened pastry sheet to twice the size of a piece of chocolate. Lightly moisten the edges of the sheet with water (not listed).
Cover with another piece of pastry and firmly press the edges together with a fork.
Make light cuts in the center of the top sheet for an attractive finish.
They also look cute if you pierce holes in the surface with a fork.
Line up on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush on egg yolk mixed with a teaspoon of water for the glaze.
Bake for 12-15 minutes at 200°C. When they are a nice golden colour, they're done. Bake until they're as golden as you like.

You can use the whole egg if you like. Press the edges of the pastry together firmly with a fork. You can cut out cute shapes with a cookie cutter. Use any kind of chocolate you like for the filling. These are so easy that anyone can make them!
