3-Ingredient Sausage Rolls (without proofing)

You can make these rolls easily with ingredients you have at home. You don't need to bother with proofing the dough, so even beginners won't fail making these easy delicious rolls.


Cake flour
100 g + a small amount of salt
Baking powder
1 tablespoon
3 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
80 ml
Egg yolk (for glazing)
Wiener sausage


1. Sift the baking powder and cake flour together. You can use a fine meshed sieve to do this.
2. Add a small amount of salt to the flour. Add the ★ ingredients, adding the water little by little while checking the texture of the dough. Adjust the amount of water until the dough is as soft as your earlobe.
3. Knead the dough well. It will gradually come together if you knead it by throwing it on a hard surface.
4. The dough should be smooth like this photo. I threw this dough on a hard surface about 20 times. It would be the best if you leave it to rest for about an hour!
5. Dust the work surface with a little cake flour, and divide the dough to shape into balls. You can make 6~8 balls.
6. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
7. Lay a wiener sausage on the dough and roll up.
8. Brush the egg yolk on the surface of the dough. Bake for 10~15 minutes at 180℃. Adjust the baking time depending on your oven.
9. They're done! Try them with some ketchup. Don't over-bake them as they harden.
