Baked or Frozen Chocolate Balls

Use up leftover bread!
Make crispy, melted baked chocolate.
Or don't bake and chill for uniquely textured chocolate balls.
Choose whichever method you like.

Ingredients: 1 chocolate bar: I've updated the amounts

White bread, cut into 6 pieces (or bread crusts)
1 (if bread crusts, 2 to 3)
★Milk chocolate
60 g
★Heavy cream (or soy milk)
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Use your hands to tear the bread into tiny pieces as small as possible. It doesn't have to be pretty! Add the ★ ingredients to a bowl, microwave for 40-50 seconds, then mix.
2. Add bread to the bowl and mix together. Once the mixture has completely cooled use your hands to roll into small balls. Refrigerate and they're done!
3. For Baked Chocolate: In Step 2, once you've formed balls, flatten with a spoon. Bake in preheated oven at 160℃ for 20 minutes.
4. This cooked chocolate is similar to Galbo chocolate. Crispy, but the chocolate is moist. Warning: either method, you'll find yourself addicted to these!
