Slice into 1cm-thick round slices and soak in water for 15 minutes to remove any scum.
Steam, boil, or soften the slices in the microwave. Then, place them in a bowl and mash them up. Add the katakuriko, honey and salt. Mix together.
Form your dumplings into any shape. Heat some butter in a frying pan, brown both sides, and they're done!
Story Behind this Recipe
I rearranged the recipe that my father taught me.
・In Step 2, if you slice the round slices of the potatoes thinly, they will cook faster. I softened the sweet potatoes in the microwave this time. I put them in for 4 minutes at 600W ・You can use sugar instead of honey.
