Make Easy, Crispy, and Flaky Cookies in 10 Minutes In a Plastic Bag

Make easy cookies with ingredients that you usually have on hand.
It takes no more than 10 minutes to make the dough.
No egg, milk, or butter necessary.

Ingredients: makes about the amount of cookies shown in the photo

Cake flour
100 g
Sugar
40 g
Katakuriko
30 g
Salt
a pinch
Vegetable oil (canola oil)
45 g

Steps

1. Place a plastic bag on a scale, and add all the ingredients except the vegetable oil as you weigh them.
2. Shake the bag to combine the ingredients.
3. Place the plastic bag on the scale again and add the vegetable oil as you weigh.
4. Knead the dough over the bag to bring it together.
5. Once the dough comes together, roll it into a stick.
6. Cut out the bag and slice the dough into 5 mm thick with a knife.
7. Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180℃.
8. The fresh cookies out of the oven are very soft and fall apart easily. Let them rest as they are until they are cool.

Story Behind this Recipe

Since the cookies made with just cake flour turned out hard, I tried with some katakuriko.
