A Delicious Way to Steam Couscous

This is just something I put together. I think this is a really good way to cook up couscous.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

1 cups (200 ml)
Hot water
2 cups (400 ml)
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
1/2 teaspoon
Butter (optional)
1 pat


1. Heat some olive oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the couscous for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt.
2. Add all of the hot water in one go. When you add it in the mixture should bubble a bit.
3. Mix the couscous with a wooden spatula until it has absorbed all of the hot water.
4. When it looks like it does in this photo, stop the heat, cover the pan with a lid and steam for 10 minutes. If you like, try melting in some butter.
