Moist and Delicious Yogurt Banana Cake

Combine banana and yogurt for a moist cake that's aromatic of bananas.

Ingredients: 18 cm pound cake

50 g
50-60 g
Plain yogurt
100 g
※ 1 regular sized
◆Cake flour
100 g
◆Baking powder
1 teaspoon
◆ Cinnamon powder (optional)
1/3 teaspoon


1. Soften the butter in the microwave by heating for about 20-30 seconds (500 W). Add the sugar and mix with a whisk.
2. Whisk in the egg, then gently mix in the yogurt.
3. Mash the banana with a fork and add to the yogurt mixture. Mix together with a rubber spatula.
4. Sift the ◆ flour, baking powder, and cinnamon into the mixture from Step 3. Use a rubber spatula to combine with cutting motions.
5. Line the pan with baking paper and pour in the dough. Smooth the top.
6. Bake for about 30-40 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C. When a toothpick or skewer inserted into the center comes out clean, it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to use up my last banana, so I combined it with some yogurt to make a cake.
This recipe makes such a deliciously moist cake that you'll be really satisfied with.
