Simple Bean Sprouts and Fish Sausage in Sweet and Sour Sauce

A quick recipe--just soak the ingredients and they're finished in no time! I recommend serving it on top of rice.

Ingredients: Serves 2

Bean sprouts
1 bag
Fish sausage
1
Salt
a small amount
◎Ketchup
1 tablespoon
◎Sugar
1 tablespoon
◎Vinegar
1 tablespoon
◎Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
◎Katakuriko
2 teaspoons
◎Water
6 tablespoons
Green onion (decorative) <- If you have
as desired

Steps

1. Wash the bean sprouts and cut the fish sausages in half diagonally lengthwise. Mix the ◎ ingredients together and set aside.
2. Add a bit of oil (not listed) to a pan and fry the fish sausages you prepared in Step 1.
3. Once the fish sausages slightly color, add the bean sprouts and mix together with a bit of salt. Add the ◎ mix from the sides of the pan and slowly mix with a circular motion.
4. Once it has developed a nice thickness, it's finished.
5. Serve it while it's hot!

Story Behind this Recipe

I had some leftover bean sprouts, so I came up with a recipe I could make fairly quickly... It was cold out, so I tried it with a thick sauce.
