Apple Tarte Tatin Made in a Frying Pan

This apple tart consists of caramelized apples and a soft crust. Just layer everything in order in a frying pan. It's a cake that doesn't need an oven. Eat as soon as it's done cooking.

Ingredients: 1 22 cm frying pan

2 small
A) Cake flour
70 g
A) Almond powder
30 g
A) Baking powder
1 teaspoon
B) Egg
B) Milk
2 tablespoons
B) Olive Oil
1 tablespoon
C) Butter
30 g
C) Sugar
2 tablespoons
to taste


1. Prep 1: [A Ingredients] Combine and sift the cake flour, almond powder, and baking powder.
2. Prep 2: [B Ingredients] Beat the egg. Add the milk and olive oil and mix together. Set aside.
3. Prep 3: Peel the apple and cut into 3-5 mm thick slices.
4. Make the crust: Add the egg to the powdered ingredients and lightly mix together.
5. [C Ingredients] Heat the frying pan and melt the butter and sugar.
6. Once the sugar has completely dissolved and the mixture is bubbling slightly, turn off the heat.
7. Place the apples in the pan leaving no cracks.
8. Turn on the heat once again and lightly cook until the apples are cooked through. Use low heat so that they don't burn.
9. Sprinkle on the cinnamon.
10. Pour the batter on top to cover the whole thing.
11. Cover with a lid and heat on low for about 15 minutes to steam.
12. It's ready when the batter gets dry and bumpy and when an inserted toothpick comes out dry.
13. Flip the frying pan onto a large plate to flip over the cake.
14. It's also quite delicious if you top it with heavy cream!
