Easy Pilaf-Style Rice

Just mix butter, nuts, raisins, fried onions, and salt into freshly cooked rice. How about making this to go with curry?

Ingredients: 2 servings

Freshly cooked rice
2 servings
Butter (unsalted)
1/2 tablespoon
Raisins / cranberries
1 tablespoon
Peanuts / cashew nuts
1 tablespoon
Fried onions
1 tablespoon
Salt (I used rock salt)
1/2 teaspoon


1. Cook the rice. Once cooked, add the butter and steam a bit. Mix in the raisins, or cranberries and nuts, and salt and mix well.
2. Transfer to plates and top with curry. It also goes well with other western foods.
3. It's delicious if you make it with cranberries and basmati rice.
4. It also goes well with chicken grilled with herbed panko or fried chicken.
5. This time I used cashew nuts and raisins.
