Peel the sweet potato (leave a little of the skin on) and cut up roughly. Microwave for 3 minutes at 700 W. Mash while hot.
Add the condensed milk, lemon juice, and milk to the mashed potato and mix. When the mash has cooled down a bit, tear the cheese and add it in. Add a little salt and mix.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds to taste and it's done.
I recommend forming it into balls and putting it in a bento.
Story Behind this Recipe
We got a lot of sweet potatoes as a gift, so I thought of kuri kinton (a chestnut and mashed sweet potato dish) and came up with this recipe.
Leave a little of the skin on the sweet potato when you peel it. It makes the mash more colorful. Adjust the amount of condensed milk to taste. If you don't have any, use coffee cream and sugar instead.
