Easy Grilled Salmon with Mirin and Soy Sauce

All you have to do is marinate the salmon in mirin and soy sauce and grill! Try the same recipe with other cuts of fish.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Raw salmon
4 cuts
Sauce for marinating
☆ Mirin
4 tablespoons
☆ Soy sauce
4 tablespoons
☆ Sake
2 tablespoons


1. In a baking pan or tray, mix together the sauce ingredients to marinate, and allow the salmon to marinate for about 30 minutes.
2. Grill salmon cuts for 3-5 minutes on both sides over medium heat. Do not dispose the marinating sauce!
3. While the salmon is grilling, pour the leftover sauce into a pot, and simmer on medium heat for about 8 minutes until it thickens.
4. When the salmon is done, transfer to serving plates, drizzle the stewed sauce, and it's ready to serve.
