Syrupy and Warming ~ Ginger Green Tea

How about a hot ginger drink on a cold day?

Ingredients: 1 serving

Grated ginger
1 teaspoon plus
Matcha
to taste
Katakuriko
1, 2 or 3 heaping teaspoons
Brown sugar or white sugar
2 teaspoons or so
Water
about 1 tablespoon
Boiling hot water
60-70% of the cup

Steps

1. Use a small teacup.
2. Here I used 3 heaping teaspoons of katakuriko. It's a hot ginger syrup you eat.

4. Add water and dissolve. The green tea doesn't dissolve that well, so this is fine.
5. Add the boiling water, and mix with a spoon.
6. Mix and mix for 10 seconds, and it thickens and becomes syrupy. Done. If it doesn't thicken though, microwave for 30 seconds until it does become syrupy.
7. Here I used 1 heaping teaspoon of katakuriko. It's quite thin.
8. Here I used 3 heaping teaspoons of katakuriko. It's a hot ginger syrup you eat.

I was getting bored with brown sugar syrup ginger drink, so this is a variation.
