Very Easy Teriyaki Chicken

An easy teriyaki chicken with step-by-step photos. You just need a frying pan. The crisp skin goes well with the tender meat.

Ingredients: 2.5 servings

Chicken thighs
430 g
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Cooking sake
2 + 1.5 tablespoons
Mirin
2 tablespoons
Sugar
1 tablespoon
Salt
1/3 teaspoon

Steps

1. Chicken thighs.
2. Pierce the skin side of the chicken, about 15 times.
3. Season with 1.5 tablespoons of sake and 1/3 teaspoon of salt. Rub with the meat and leave it for 5 minutes.
4. For the teriyaki sauce, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sake, 2 tablespoons of mirin, and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
5. Brown with the skin side down over medium heat.
6. Turn it over when the skin has browned. Add the sauce.
7. Keep browning the meat over medium heat and turn over after 1 minute for about 3 times. Turn off the heat when the sauce has reduced.
