Yellow Pepper and Bacon Salad

A light and simple salad with the richness of cheese.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Yellow pepper
1 or 2 pieces
Processed cheese
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Salt and pepper
to taste
Dried parsley (optional)
as needed


1. Slice the cheese into 4 rectangles.
2. Slice the yellow pepper lengthwise into 4 or 5 mm matchsticks. Cut the bacon in the same sizes as the yellow pepper.
3. Heat a frying pan and cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy.
4. Add the yellow pepper, cook for a few minutes, and turn off the heat.
5. Combine with the cheese in Step 1 and the ingredients in Step 4 in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper and olive oil.
6. Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with dried parsley to garnish if you prefer.

Story Behind this Recipe

I like the texture of melted cheese, but for processed cheese, I wanted to keep its texture.
