Spicy Soy Milk Dan Dan Hotpot

Spicy Soy Milk Dan Dan Hotpot

This is a healthy, spicy and yummy soy milk hotpot. Simmer the ingredients in soy milk and chicken soup stock, and add the meat-miso at the end. Add ramen noodles to finish the dish.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Ground pork
150 g
Minced ginger
1 thumb
Grated garlic
1 clove
Combined seasonings:
2 teaspoons
2 teaspoons
Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
1 tablespoon
Oyster sauce
1/2 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
300 ml
Chicken stock granules
2 teaspoons
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
White sesame seed paste
3 tablespoons
Soy milk
300 ml
Chinese cabbage
150 g
Japanese leek
1/2 stalk
Bok choy
1 bunch
1/2 block
Enoki mushrooms
1/3 bag
Chinese chives
1/3 bunch
Daikon radish
80 g

1. Chop the vegetables and tofu into bite-sized pieces. Thinly sliced daikon radish with a peeler is delicious in this dish. These are just suggestions, so use your preferred vegetables.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan, and fry the ginger and garlic. When fragrant, stir-fry the ground meat until it becomes crumbly. Add the combined seasonings.
3. Add the soup ingredients into an earthenware pot, and bring to a boil. Then add the vegetables. When cooked through, add Step 2, and it's done.
4. When you mix the meat-miso and soup, the red colour from the doubanjiang spreads just like dan dan noodles.
