Easy Shiratamako Pão de Queijo (Cheese Buns)

I wanted to eat something chewy, It makes a nice gift.


About 15 pieces, depending on the size
150 g
1/3 teaspoon
150 ml
Egg yolk
Grated cheese
70 g


1. Mix the salt into the shiratamako, then mix in the milk a little at a time.
2. Add the egg yolk and mix. Finally, add the grated cheese and mix well. You have to use some elbow grease here.
3. Bring the dough together, then wrap the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
4. Roll balls of dough from the chilled dough and bake in an oven preheated to 180℃ for 20-25 minutes.
