Whip the cream until soft peaks form and add your sweetener of choice (not listed) to sweeten.
Mix together everything except the nuts, and cool in the freezer to harden. You can either mix half-way through freezing for a smooth texture, or eat before completely frozen and still soft. Sprinkle nuts on top to your liking.
Variation: I tried using boiled adzuki beans instead of sweet potato. It was really refreshing and tasted like adzuki ice cream.

I wanted ice cream but didn't have any in the house, so I tried making this with what was on hand. Ever since then, I've been addicted.
Add more heavy cream to make it richer! Add more strained yogurt for a more yogurt taste! Feel free to adjust quantities and sweetness to taste. I always taste it and make changes as I go along.
