Fried Calamari Rings

Freshly fried calamari rings are so tasty.
Beaten eggs with a little flour sticks to the calamari well when dredging, and it makes a nice coating.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Calamari
1
White flour
50 g
Egg
1
Water
50-60 ml
Panko
80-100 g
Oil for deep frying
as needed

Steps

1. Remove the guts from the calamari and peel its skin off. Cut into ring-shaped slices (chop the tentacles and fins into chunks).
2. Coat the squid evenly with flour (unlisted; 2-3 tablespoons).
3. Mix the flour and egg.
4. Add the water and continue mixing.
5. Dredge the calamari rings in the egg mixture and then the panko.
6. You can make this much with a single calamari.
7. Deep-fry.
8. Voila! It's done.
