Crispy Non-Fried Chicken

Crispy Non-Fried Chicken

Just delicious! The cornflake coating and the juicy chicken inside are so tasty! It's not deep fried, so it's healthy too.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Chicken thigh meat cut into 40 g pieces
400 g
★ Garlic
1 clove
★ Juice from grated ginger
a bit less than 1 teaspoon
★ Salt
1 heaping teaspoon
★ Sake or white wine
50 ml
★ Black pepper
to taste
Cake flour
about 30 g
Storebought mayonnaise
100 g
Cornflakes (the no-sugar kind)
1 box

1. Combine the chicken with the ingredients marked ★ (garlic, ginger juice, salt, sake or wine, pepper) and mix well. Marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
2. Dust the marinated chicken lightly with the flour.
3. Return the chicken to the bowl with the marinade and add the mayonnaise. Mix well to coat the chicken completely. It tastes better with a lot of mayonnaise.
4. Use storebought cornflakes that aren't sugar coated. Use plenty of it to coat the chicken.
5. Coat the mayonnaise-coated chicken generously with the cornflakes that have been crushed a bit beforehand.
6. Line a baking sheet with kitchen parchment paper, and place the chicken pieces on it in a single layer. Bake in a pre-heated 180°C oven for about 20 minutes. Please adjust the time based on your oven.
