Highly Nutritious Hot Banana Milkshake

This is good as a snack or for breakfast. This highly nutritious hot banana milkshake will warm you up. It's got a whole banana in it, so it makes a great nutritious and filling breakfast for busy mornings.

Ingredients: 2 servings

150 g
1 tablespoon
Egg yolk
Vanilla essence
a small amount
Cinnamon powder
to taste


1. This tastes best when you use a really ripe banana.
2. Break up the banana with your hands and add the slices to a bowl. Mash with a fork until puréed.
3. Add the milk, sugar and egg yolk to the bowl, and mix with a whisk.
4. Put the mixture in a pan. Cook over a low heat and stir until thickened. Alternatively, you can just keep agitating the pan as it cooks. However, be sure to do once or the other or else it'll solidify!
5. If you like, sprinkle cinnamon powder on top before drinking.
6. If you're suffering from a cold, try adding in a little bit of rum or brandy. Drink it just before you go to bed, and you'll fall asleep no problem.
