Easy Steamed Sweet Potato

You can easily make fluffy, easy-to-eat steamed sweet potato in about 15 minutes! It's very tender, so it won't get stuck in your throat. You won't be able to stop eating this.

Ingredients: 1 sweet potato's worth

1. Slice the sweet potato into 1.5-2 cm thick slices.
2. The steamed sweet potato slices will look more refined if soaked in a bowl of water to get rid of the excess starch before steaming them (this step is optional).
3. Bring water to a boil in a steamer, and steam the sweet potato for about 15 minutes over medium to high heat. That's all there is to it!

Story Behind this Recipe

I tried baking fiber-packed sweet potato in the oven, microwave, and grill. But unfortunately, the moisture of the sweet potato evaporated by these cooking methods, and the sweet potato got stuck in my throat, making it hard to swallow, so I eventually got tired of eating it. But still, I was searching for that easy-to-eat sweet potato, and after many trials, I ended up with this steaming method.
