Prawn and Okra with Sweet Sesame Sauce

I tossed prawns in a delicious sweet sesame sauce.

Ingredients: 2 - 4 servings

10 - 12
◎Ground sesame seeds
2 tablespoons
◎Soy sauce
1.5 tablespoons
2 teaspoons
Roasted sesame
as needed
For prawn preparation
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon


1. Mix the ◎ ingredients.
2. Rub okra with a small amount of salt (not listed). Remove the caps, and boil in hot water. Wash briefly in running water and drain well. Cut crosswise in half.
3. Peel the prawn shells and devein if needed. Rub the prawns in katakuriko and sake, then rinse with water.
4. Boil briefly in hot water and drain well.
5. Mix the okra and prawns. Add the sauce you made in Step 1.
6. Serve on a plate. Sprinkle roasted sesame seeds on top.
