Chocolate Muffins

Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
These muffins look like they are full of chocolate even from the outside.

Ingredients: 6

Unsalted butter of margarine
80 g
80 g
2 tablespoons
Chocolate bar
to your liking
25 g (optional)
Dry Ingredients
Cake flour
100 g
Baking powder
3 g
Pure cocoa powder
1 1/2 tablespoons


1. Roast the walnuts in the oven for about 5 minutes at 170℃. Place the butter in a heatproof bowl, then put in the oven. (Melt in residual heat.)
2. Combine the dry ingredients, and sift.
3. Mix the batter until it becomes like mayonnaise consistency, and add the granulated sugar into 2 batches, then mix. Add the beaten egg little by little, and continue mixing.
4. Add the walnuts and mix. Preheat the oven for 180℃.
5. When blended, add 1/2 of the sifted dry ingredients, and fold in. Add the milk, and mix. Then add the remaining dry ingredients, and fold in.
6. Pour the batter into the cups, and put the pieces of chocolate bar on top. Bake in the oven preheated to 180℃ for about 30 minutes, then they're done!

I created this recipe because I wanted to make muffins with cocoa powder.
