Grilled Gochujang Chicken Wings

Put it in a plastic bag, marinate it, and bake.
You won't have to wash any pots or pans!
This is a combination of Japanese, Chinese and Korean sweet and spicy food, and goes great with beer!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken wings
4 wings
【Marinating Sauce】
Oyster sauce
2 teaspoons
Mentsuyu
1 tablespoon
Sake (Shaoxing wine, if available)
2 tablespoons
Mirin
2 tablespoons
Gochujang
2 tablespoons
Grated garlic
1 clove

Steps

1. Cut some notches into each side of the wings. Put the wings and all the ingredients into a bag. Gently push out the excess air and seal the bag.
2. Let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour to let the flavors soak in. ※You can prep this in the morning and then cook it at night.
3. Cook the wings on a grill over medium-high heat for 8~9 minutes. Serve with shiso leaves and you're finished! ※If the surface starts to scorch, cover it with aluminum foil.
