Somewhat Italian Tomato Bread

Somewhat Italian Tomato Bread

I made bread using delicious tomato juice. You can slice it thinly to make sandwiches, or top with mozzarella cheese and lightly toast. I used a bread maker to knead the dough.

Ingredients: 1.5 loaves

Bread (strong) flour
410 g (I used the brand 'Super King')
Dry yeast
2 teaspoons
Tomato juice
240 ml (I used the brand 'Ookami no Momo')
1.5 tablespoons (I used fructose)
Natural salt
1 teaspoon
1 tablespoon (I used Koiwai brand cultured butter)
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Skim milk powder
2 tablespoons
Dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
1 teaspoon, freshly ground

1. Measure the ingredients precisely. If the tomato juice is chilled, let it warm to room temperature. Place the ingredients into the bread maker and as soon as it has finished baking, remove and place on an oven rack placed on a large plate to cool.
2. Once it has cooled completely, use a bread knife to saw the loaf into slices.
3. This tastes delicious topped with mozzarella cheese and fresh tomatoes drizzled with olive oil.
