Salty and Sweet Fried Burdock Furikake Rice Sprinkles

Ingredients: 4 to 5 servings

Burdock root
2 ( about 150 g )
Vegetable oil
1 teaspoon
● Sake
1 1/2 tablespoons
● Sugar
1 tablespoon
● Mirin
1 tablespoon
● Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
Roasted sesame seeds (white)
1 tablespoon


1. Take the skin off the burdock and cut it into small pieces. Put it in a food processor.
2. Don't mince it too much because it tastes better when it has the burdock texture.
3. Pour some vegetable oil into a frying pan and fry the burdock well on a medium flame.
4. Add all ● ingredients and stew until the liquid boils away.
5. When the liquid has boiled away, add sesame oil and roasted sesame and mix it. Then it is ready!
