Salmon Steak With Olive Dill Sauce

Salmon Steak With Olive Dill Sauce

This is a recipe for salmon with a hint of garlic in an olive and dill sauce. It's simple, but it looks elegant. Great for serving guests.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Salmon filets
1 large clove
White wine
1 tablespoon + 1-2 tablespoons
Extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon
Herb salt or high quality salt
as desired
Black pepper
to taste
For the sauce:
♦Olives (coarsely minced)
♦Dill (minced)
2 tablespoons
♦Grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes (5 mm diced)
2 tablespoons
♦Lemon juice
1.5 tablespoons
♦Extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons
♦ Salt
about 1/3 teaspoon (adjust depending on the saltiness of the olives)
♦Black pepper
a small amount

1. Pour 1 tablespoon of white wine over the salmon and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Combine the ♦ ingredients to make the sauce.
2. Wipe off the moisture from the salmon and season with the herb salt and black pepper. Remove the stem from the garlic and mince. Add together with the oil to a frying pan.
3. Once the garlic has become fragrant, add the salmon, and brown both sides. Add 1-2 tablespoons of white wine, cover with a lid, and steam cook.
4. Once the salmon has cooked, place on a serving dish, and top with the sauce to complete. Serve with any side dish you like and enjoy with some wine.
