Filling Beef and Potato Croquettes

Rather classy croquettes using thinly sliced beef.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Thinly sliced beef offcuts
150 g
Flour, beaten egg, panko
As needed
○ Milk
4 tablespoons
○ Salt
1/2 teaspoon
○ Pepper
a small amount
1 tablespoon


1. Cut up the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and boil until tender. Drain well, and return to the pan. Dry out the potatoes while shaking the pan.
2. Finely chop the onion. Melt the butter in a frying pan, and sauté the onion until softened. Add the milk, and season with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and some pepper.
3. Mix the ingredients from Steps 1 and 2 with the ○ ingredients in a bowl. Divide into portions, and form into patties with moistened hands.
4. Coat the patties in flour, beaten egg and panko. Deep fry until golden brown in 170°C oil.
