Easy and Healthy Oil-free Grilled Horse Mackerel with Nanban Sauce

You can make this easy and healthy dish without frying.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Horse mackerel
4 cuts
Salt
a small amount
Onion

● Soy sauce
5 tablespoons
● Vinegar
5 tablespoons
● Sugar
2 tablespoons
● Shiro-dashi
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Remove the guts and spiny scute from the tail end, sprinkle salt over the fish, then grill both sides.
2. Thinly slice the onion, and julienne the carrot.
3. Put the ● ingredients in a large frying pan, then add the onion and carrots. Bring to a boil, then turn off the heat.
4. When the fish finishes grilling, add them to the frying pan. Put the onion and carrots on top of the fish.
5. Flip over the fish after 5 minutes. The flavors will absorb in 10 minutes. Serve once it has simmered to your liking.
