Pan Fried Pork with Grainy Mustard

Pan Fried Pork with Grainy Mustard

I spread grainy mustard between thin slices of pork, and pan fried it with a sweet-salty sauce! It really whets your appetite. Great in bentos too!

Ingredients: 3 servings

Pork meat (thinly sliced loin)
Ground mustard
Plain flour
as needed
Soy sauce
1~1 1/2 tablespoons
1 1/2~2 tablespoons

1. Spread each slice of meat, slather 1 side with mustard, and cut in half.
2. Sprinkle both sides with flour.
3. Line the meat in a frying pan without oil, and cook on both sides until golden brown.
4. Add the soy sauce and mirin once the meat has browned, and coat the meat with the sauce as it cooks. Work quickly so that it doesn't burn!

Story Behind this Recipe

This tasted great when I slathered mustard in between!
