Easy Croque-Monsieur Style French Toast

Easy Croque-Monsieur Style French Toast

This French toast, like fluffy omelette, is substantial enough to serve as a meal. I recommend serving it for brunch or lunch.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Sliced bread (1.5cm thick)
2 pieces
●Milk (or soy milk)
70-100 ml
1 tablespoon
Roast ham
Easy melting cheese slice
2 slices

1. Trim off the crusts and spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Layer one slice with cheese, ham, and then another layer of cheese. Place the other slice of bread on top and lightly press down to seal.
2. Combine the ● ingredients, and immerse the sandwich, turning it over to soak both sides.
3. Heat a frying pan with butter or vegetable oil. Cook the sandwich over medium heat taking care not to burn it. Once it is nice and brown on both sides, it's done.
4. Add a side of seasonable fruit, and enjoy the meal.

Story Behind this Recipe

French toast can be cooked in a variety of ways. I made my usual croque-monsieur using French toast.
