Sublime! The Sauce is Delicious! Salmon with Mayonnaise

The mayonnaise with cherry tomaties is so good!! It's so good you'll want to use it with everything! You never have to buy prepared sauce again!!

Ingredients: Serves 4

Salmon (or prawns, or chicken♪)
2 or 3 fillets
Salmon Seasoning
Sake, Soy sauce, Mirin
1 tablespoon each
Sesame oil, grated ginger, grated garlic (you can use tube garlic or ginger)
to taste
Katakuriko
as needed
Oil for frying
as needed
Mayonnaise Sauce:
Cherry tomatoes (canned tomatoes are OK too!)
10
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Salt and pepper
a small amount
Sugar
1 teaspoon
Sake
1 tablespoon
Mayonnaise
5 tablespoons
Condensed Milk
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Cut the salmon into bite sized pieces. Season well with the salmon seasoning and set aside for a little while to let the seasoning soak in. Just before frying, coat the salmon with katakuriko. Fry until the salmon is crispy.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan. Quarter the tomatoes and add to the pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and sugar. Cook until soft.
3. When the tomatoes are soft, add the sake and cook for an additional 2 minutes while crushing the tomatoes with a spatula.
4. Add the mayonnaise and condensed milk. Quickly mix the sauce together Add a bit of lemon juice to add a refreshing flavour to the sauce.
5. Dress the fried salmon with the warm sauce, and you are done !!
6. Or, spread the sauce on the plate and arrange the salmon on top of it for an elegant presentation. Crispy and delicious!
7. This time I fried prawns coated in katakuriko. I used canned tomatoes in the sauce, which made the dish even easier!
8. Here I used the recipe as a filling for a panino!
9. Here I used it as a sandwich filling!!
10. The sauce is even good on frozen meatballs!

Story Behind this Recipe

I love shrimp in mayonnaise sauce. I thought it would be good with salmon too, so I tried making this recipe.
