Tomato and Okra Milky Way Somen Noodles for Tanabata

Somen noodles with a garlicky Japanese tomato sauce.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Somen noodles

★ Finely chopped garlic
1 teaspoon
★ Olive oil
2 tablespoons
★Plum vinegar (or salt)
about 2 tablespoons
★Water
2 tablespoons
★ Salt and pepper
To taste

Steps

1. Cut tomatoes into 5 mm cubes, mix the ★ ingredients and chill in fridge.
2. Lightly blanch the okra and slice.
3. Cut out the bell peppers with a star-shape cutter. Finely chop the other vegetables and boil.
4. Cook the somen noodles.
5. Arrange Steps 1, 2, 3 together on a plate, and it's done.
