Japanese-style Tofu and Avocado Salad

This is the salad that you'll crave in the summer.
The wasabi gives a nice sharpness that's perfect for hot days!

Ingredients: 1 to 2 servings

Tofu (silken)
1/2 block
Avocado
1
Lettuce
6 to 7 leaves
Cherry tomatoes
3
Bonito flakes
to taste
Shredded dried seaweed
to taste
Dressing
Mentsuyu
2 to 3 tablespoons
Wasabi, tubed
about 2 cm (1 tsp)
Mayonnaise
to taste

Steps

1. Remove the skin from the avocado and cut into bite-sizes. Chop the tomato into bite-sized pieces as well. Shred the lettuce and tofu by hand. Combine the wasabi and mentsuyu and mix.
2. Combine the lettuce, avocado, tofu and tomato in a dish (in that order), then drizzle the wasabi and mentsuyu dressing over. Add a little mayonnaise on top.
3. Sprinkle bonito flakes and shredded dried seaweed and serve!
