Story Behind this Recipe
This is a cold dessert perfect for summer. It's an Italian dessert of seasonal fruits marinated in a syrup. It's a great dish because of its beautiful jewel-like appearance, plus it can be made very easily. Since it looks gorgeous, it's perfect for a party menu or to serve it to your guests.
I heard that macédoine means "to mix". Marinate the fruits right away after cutting them with the lemon juice to prevent discoloring. For more of my recipes, please see my blog, "Meals in America." http://blog.livedoor.jp/yakubonse/ (Japanese-language)
