Spicy Fried Shrimp Sushi Rolls

The yuzu pepper works well with sushi rice with perilla leaves. It's refreshing and tasty.

Ingredients: 1 roll

Frozen fried shrimp
Plain cooked rice
a little less than 3/4 rice cooker cups - 135 ml
★ Vinegar
1 tablespoon
★ Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons
★ Salt
1/3 teaspoon
Shiso leaves
3 leaves
about 2 leaves (small)
♣ Yuzu pepper
1/2 a teaspoon
♣ Mayonnaise
2 teaspoons
Nori seaweed
1 sheet


1. Combine the ★ ingredients - vinegar, sugar, and salt - for sushi vinegar. Drizzle onto the rice for sushi rice.
2. Deep-fry the shrimp. Slice the lettuce and chop the ooba leaves finely. Combine the ooba leaves and sushi rice.
3. Combine the ♣ ingredients - mayonnaise and yuzu pepper - and mix with the lettuce.
4. Place nori sheet on top of the vingar rice and spread sushi rice from down to up, leaving about 4/5 uncovered. Top with lettuce and fried shrimp at about 1/4 from the bottom.
5. To make a neat roll, roll up tightly in the beginning and keep on pressing down the ingredients.
6. Cut with the open ends facing down. Use a damp knife to cut neatly. Clean the knife with a damp cloth each time you cut.

When I made fried shrimp rolls before it worked well with yuzu pepper, so I tried to go beyond it with this recipe.
