Easy Non-Fried Potato Wedges

Easy Non-Fried Potato Wedges

After heating up the potatoes in the microwave, just bake them in the toaster oven to add color. These fries are very easy to make.

Ingredients: 2 servings

3 small
☆Olive oil (or vegetable oil)
1 tablespoon
☆Krazy Salt (or salt + pepper)
to taste
☆Dried basil (optional)
to taste

1. Cut the potatoes into wedges. (Don't cut them too small or they will fall apart when microwaved).
2. Put the potatoes in a heat-resistant bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600 W for 3 minutes.
3. Once cooled, mix the wedges with the ☆ ingredients.
4. Line a toaster oven baking tray with aluminum foil. Place the potatoes on the tray.
5. Put the tray into the toaster oven. Keep your eye on the wedges and once they brown, flip them over. They will probably need to cook for about 10 minutes.
6. Arrange the wedges on a dish and they're done. (I served them with some pork steak and grated daikon radish, Recipe ID: 838642).

Story Behind this Recipe

These are great for when I want to eat some wedges but don't feel like going out to buy any or deep-frying anything.

I just made these easily when I felt like having some. You can make these in the toaster oven rather than a conventional oven.
