Delicious Cream Cheese Toast

The shop I used to buy this closed down, so I tried to recreate the taste at home. The sweet and tart taste of cream cheese is addictive.

Ingredients: 2 slices

Sliced bread (from a 5 slice loaf)
2 slices
Cream cheese
18 g x 2
2 tablespoons
Cookie dough
50 g
60 g
Plain flour
60 g
40 g
Vanilla extract
a small amount


1. Slice the bread into two, remove the crusts, and cut into triangles.
2. Microwave the cream cheese for 10-20 seconds until soft. Then mix with sugar and spread it on the bread.
3. Make the cookie dough. Mix the sugar with softened butter. When the mixture has turned white, mix in the egg in 2 batches.
4. Sift the dry ingredients into the mixture from Step 3, add the vanilla extract, and mix well. Adjust the consistency of the mixture with milk until thickened.
5. With a spoon, drizzle the mixture from Step 4 on the bread from Step 2, so the bread is 80% covered.
6. To avoid waste, bake the crusts in the leftover cookie dough.
