Cucumber Sunomono Vinegar Sauce

A slightly sweet sunomono side dish. Why not give it a try?

Ingredients: 2 servings

● Apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon
● Sugar
1/2 tablespoon
● Salt
1 pinch
● Water
1 tablespoon
White sesame seeds
To taste


1. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
2. Sprinkle with a little salt and massage the cucumber.
3. After leaving them to rest for 10 minutes, squeeze out the cucumber well to remove the excess moisture.
4. Mix the ● ingredients together.
5. Combine the cucumber and the flavoring ingredients.
6. Transfer to serving dishes, sprinkle with sesame seeds and it's done. Chill in the refrigerator before serving if you prefer.
