Banana Soy Milk Smoothie without a Mixer

Isn't it a pain to get the mixer out?
This smoothie can be made in an instant, even on busy mornings.

Ingredients: Makes about 2 large servings

Banana
1
Processed soy milk
300 ml
Lemon juice (See Helpful Hints)
1/2 to 1 teaspoon
Vanilla extract
2 to 3 drops
Sugar (Lakanto S sweetner) (See Helpful Hints)
1 teaspoon

Steps

1. Break up the banana into a large bowl. Sprinkle on lemon juice right away to prevent discoloring.
2. Mash with a whisk.
3. After 2 to 3 minutes, the bananas should have a paste-like consistency.
4. Add in the soy milk!
5. If you incorporate air into the mixture while whisking, it will become thick and creamy in about 3 minutes. When it reaches your desired consistency, add 2 to 3 drops of vanilla essence.
6. Pour into a cup filled with ice, then drink up.

When my daughter went off her banana kick, she left one sitting in the fridge. One morning, we were out of breakfast tea and milk. We had soy milk, but since my husband won't drink it straight, I just whipped this up, since I was pressed for time, and it was a hit!
