Slice the piece of bread in half, without cutting all the way through.
Fill with jam (I prefer strawberry jam).
Mix the ☆ ingredients together well.
Immerse bread in mixture of the ☆ ingredients. Flip over to allow both sides to thoroughly absorb the dredging.
Heat the margarine or butter in a frying pan, and toast both sides, and serve.

To make it easier to flip, don't cut the sliced bread all the way through. The key to this recipe is filling the French toast with jam, so feel free to use whatever recipe you like for the French toast (for the egg dredging ingredients or ratio of other ingredients...for example, using sugar instead of honey)!
