Arrange the bread cubes on the tray of the toaster oven. Bake for about 10 minutes at a low temperature (around 100-150℃) until just before they burn. All done.
After they cool, put into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator. You can use them directly from the freezer.
When you add them to soup, go ahead and add them while still frozen. They're healthy, so you can add lots of croutons to your soup.

My daughter loves croutons but I worry about the calories. I decided to make these without using oil.
・Smaller pieces may start to burn quickly, so watch closely while baking. If some pieces look like they're about to burn, grab them with chopsticks and take them out first. ・For toaster ovens without temperature control, cover with aluminum foil and keep an eye on the croutons while baking.
