Pasta with Basic Tomato Sauce

Simple is best! Try this recipe when tomatoes are in season.

Ingredients: 2 Servings

200 g
Olive oil
4 tablespoons
2 cloves
Rock salt
a little
to taste


1. Cut the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces. Crush the garlic or cut very finely.
2. Add olive oil to a heated pan and cook the tomatoes and garlic.
3. Slowly turn up the heat from low to medium. The juices should start to come out of the tomatoes, producing a nice sauce. Sprinkle a little salt and taste test.
4. Next, boil the pasta.
5. Take out the pasta when it is just a little shy of al dente, and combine it with the tomato sauce. Add more salt if needed.
