Low Calorie Chocolate Banana Muffins

These are banana chocolate chip muffins with lots of bananas It's a low calorie muffin with no butter or oil!!

These mild flavored muffins are good for Valentine's Day too.

Ingredients: 12 large or 28 regular muffins

1/3 cup
White sugar
1/2 cup
Light brown sugar
1/2 cup
White flour
1 1/2 cup
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
Chocolate chips (or chocolate bar broken into small pieces)
1/2 cup (adjust the amount as you like)
Walnuts (option)
2 tablespoons


1. Preheat the oven to 180℃
2. Mash the bananas. My host sister did it with her hands, but you could use a folk.
3. Add the egg and both sugars to the bananas and combine well.
4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
5. Combine Steps 2 and 3 and fold in the chocolate chips.
6. Coat the muffin tin with butter or oil spray. You could also use cupcake liners.
7. Bake in the oven for 25~30 minutes. Set the oven to 350ºF/ 175℃.
8. I topped the muffin with lots of rainbow sprinkles! It's super cute.

I wanted to eat banana chocolate chip muffins. I had bananas, so I tried the recipe I learned from cooking class.
