Hot Salsa for Hamburgers Hot dogs

Hot Salsa for Hamburgers Hot dogs

I made this spicy tomato sauce. Pile plenty of salsa on your hamburger or hotdog.

Ingredients: 2~3 servings

Onion
1/2 medium
Garlic
1/2~1 clove (as you like)
Olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons
Tomatoes
2
Tomato ketchup
1.5 ~ 2 tablespoons
Salt and black pepper
as needed
Chili pepper (cayenne pepper)
as much as you like

Steps

1. Take the seeds out of the tomatoes and cut them into small cubes. If you mind the skin, peel them in boiling water. I left skin on in the picture.
2. Saute the chopped onions and garlic in olive oil. Add the tomatoes when the onions become translucent.
3. Saute until the tomatoes lose their shape and meld with the onions.
4. Add ketchup, salt and pepper, and saute for a bit to cook the sourness out of the ketchup.
5. To finish, add as much chili pepper as you like.

Story Behind this Recipe

I made a tomato sauce that goes well with hamburgers and hotdogs.
