Dan Dan Noodles with Spaghetti

An easy and addicting bowl of dan dan noodles.


Long pasta
100 g
Ground meat
40 g
◎Red chili pepper
1 or more
◎Grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon
◎Grated garlic
1/2 teaspoon
Chinese soup or chicken soup granules
1 teaspoon
2 teaspoons
1 teaspoon
1 cup - 200 ml


1. Bring a pot of water to a boil, and cook the pasta so that it's on the firm side.
2. Put some oil in a frying pan and stir fry the ◎ ingredients. Add the ground meat, doubanjiang and miso, stir fry some more, add the soup stock granules and water, and simmer.
3. Add the cooked pasta, simmer a little and it's done.
4. The noodles are soupy here, but a soupless variation is delicious too. In that case, reduce the water by half, and cook the pasta so that it's a bit soft.
