Japanese Flavored Tuna Tartare

Japanese Flavored Tuna Tartare

Super easy! You can transform cheap maguro (lean tuna) into a delicious dish using ingredients you have on hand. This was featured on a supermarket recipe card.

Ingredients: 1 to 2 servings

Sashimi grade maguro (lean tuna)
100 g
Usukuchi soy sauce
about 1 teaspoon
Extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon~
Lemon juice
a small amount
1/2 clove (optional, to taste)
Salt, black pepper
To taste
Garlic or buttered toast
To taste
*Egg yolk
optional (1/3 of the amount of tuna; mix in extra seasoning if added)

1. Finely chop the tuna with a knife. Grate the garlic. Put everything in a bowl and mix well, and it's done. Please adjust the amount of garlic, lemon juice and soy sauce to taste.
2. Serve with garlic toast, plain toast or crackers. (I've used very little soy sauce and olive oil, so please add more to taste.)
