Simple Tofu Matcha Custard Pudding

Simple Tofu Matcha Custard Pudding

You can eat this rich matcha dessert even if your trying to lose weight. It has a delicious thick taste. It's free of oil, eggs or dairy products.

Ingredients: 2 servings

1/2 block
Maple syrup
3 tablespoons
1.5-2 tablespoons
White sesame paste
1 tablespoon
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Boiled azuki beans, molasses, or other topping of your choice
as needed

1. Drain the tofu for about 20 minutes. This is "Pecchin"'s recipe for "How to Drain Tofu for Sloppy Housewives" (Recipe ID: 508276).
2. Mix the tofu, maple syrup, matcha, sesame paste, and lemon juice together with a hand mixer (or in a food processor) until smooth.
3. You can use either silken or firm tofu for this recipe (firm tofu gives a denser dessert), but firm tofu tends to go lumpy so blend it well.
4. Transfer to a dessert dish and chill well in the fridge. Add some boiled azuki beans or molasses on top to finish.
